Groom collaborated with Richard Griffin Architects on this important renovation of a community based outpatient health clinic for the U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) located at 201 Main Street in Gloucester, MA.

The new 5,000 SF facility houses a community-based outpatient clinic providing health services and assistance to veterans in need. The existing space was expanded by 13’ at the rear of the building to create the new (4,913 SF) VA Health Clinic. Uniquely resting on top of the existing Walgreen’s Pharmacy, the property presented challenges as a majority of the work was located above the Pharmacy Department, which operates 24/7.

Groom is honored to work with the VA Administration once again and proud to construct a facility for such deserving clients.
