client testimonial
Groom Construction set out to expand its diversity efforts in response to our push to have our general contractors actively pursue and employ diverse sub-contractors when building our facilities. CVS Health remains committed to supplier diversity and Groom’s aggressive growth in this area shows that they too are committed to this important work. We are proud to do business with a company that is as focused on diversity and inclusion as we are. Well done Groom, and please keep diversity growth in the forefront of your goals and objectives in 2022 and beyond.

in our community
Our commitment to our community permeates all aspects of our work. We partner with and support multiple non-profit organizations that are dedicated to strengthening our communities, including Harborlight Homes, North Shore Community Development Coalition, LifeBridge Northshore, ROOT, and Plummer Youth Promise.
diversity in the workplace
Groom embraces and encourages our employees’ differences in gender, race, culture, age, sexual orientation, abilities, skills, experience, and values. The strength and uniqueness of each of us afford our team the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from our company’s success. We are committed to maximizing both individual contributions and organizational effectiveness through the diversity of our workforce. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive organization where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged at all levels.
“Through Groom’s support, YouthBuild participants have been able to work on local housing projects to fulfill their hands-on training requirements for NCCER construction credentialing.”

our commitment to supplier diversity
We encourage Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) participation on all of our projects. Local business involvement is maximized without sacrificing quality, time, or cost. We make this team effort happen by working closely with each owner to establish local inclusion goals within each of their building programs.
