This project involved the ground-up construction of a 2,300 ± square-foot, two-story single-family residence following the demolition of an existing coastal cottage. The new home was designed and built to maximize its waterfront location, sitting securely on steel beams along the seawall.
A welcoming wraparound porch spans one-third of the home’s perimeter, providing unobstructed views of the surrounding harbor. The first floor features an open-concept layout that seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas, all framed by a striking full wall of glass overlooking the water. Additional spaces on this level include a den, two private offices, and a guest suite.
The second floor offers three bedrooms, two full baths, and a third office that can also serve as a nursery. The home’s exterior includes a crushed stone driveway and a small landscaped yard, completing this blend of coastal charm and modern functionality.
