Groom Construction completed a comprehensive renovation and addition to an existing 4,600-square-foot single-family residence, resulting in a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home. The project involved extensive interior demolition, including the full gut and replacement of one existing bathroom, the addition of a new powder room, and the construction of a new full bathroom in the basement. The kitchen and all bathrooms were fully renovated with custom cabinetry throughout the home. All existing windows and exterior doors were removed and replaced, and new white oak flooring was installed throughout the residence. A new laundry and mudroom addition was constructed, along with a primary spa deck, enhancing both functionality and outdoor living. The basement was fully finished to include a bar, media room, office, new stair system, and bathroom.
Major system upgrades were completed, including a new 400-amp electrical service, new lighting throughout, a complete new HVAC system, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. The project also included the installation of a Jotul fireplace, delivering a fully modernized home with upgraded systems, high-end finishes, and improved livability.
