Our team completed a full tenant fit-out for a new Marshalls retail store in Pompano Beach, FL, transforming an existing vanilla-box space into a fully operational, brand-aligned shopping environment. The project included comprehensive interior construction, mechanical upgrades, and exterior improvements to support both customer experience and back-of-house operations.

Inside the space, we built out all required areas to meet Marshalls’ national standards. This included metal stud framing and drywall for new offices and fitting rooms, along with the construction of new ADA-compliant bathrooms. We installed new flooring, ACT ceilings, and upgraded wall finishes throughout the store, completing the interior with a full fixturing package to support Marshalls’ merchandising layout and customer flow.

Mechanical and electrical improvements were a major component of the project. We installed eight new rooftop units to provide a modern, efficient HVAC system and upgraded the building with all-new interior and exterior lighting. To enhance durability and security, new doors, frames, and hardware were added throughout the store.

Structural and exterior enhancements were also key to the transformation. We expanded the storefront entrance to 40 feet to create a more welcoming façade, installed new structural steel and concrete footings, and completed EIFS repairs and sidewalk restoration to improve both aesthetics and safety. Additional exterior work included installing a new roof ladder for safe roof access, along with a new overhead door and awning at the loading dock to support efficient store operations.

To complete the project, we installed new exterior Marshalls signage, giving the store a polished, fully branded presence that aligns with the company’s national image.
