Saugus showroom almost complete.

Spring is here and Groom is wrapping up final details on a new fireplace showroom in Saugus, MA. We stopped by late last week to check on progress and the transformation is stunning. The new space features gleaming polished concrete floors and exposed ceiling framing and spiral ductwork to create a modern-industrial showroom feel. We'll be back soon to celebrate opening day.

And check out those hockey puck grill handles!

Post-tensioned slabs in Texas

It's minus-11 degrees back home in Massachusetts, but the weather in Texas continues to be favorable for construction. Groom is ahead of schedule thanks to the excellent work of our project team, and the first (of two) 11,000 SF slabs is placed and waiting to be post-tensioned.

Kiddie Academy kicks off in Katy, TX

Groom recently kicked-off our first of two Kiddie Academy childcare projects in Texas. Groom was recommended to the franchise owners on account of our excellent performance for the company on previous projects in MA and PA, and we're grateful for the vote of confidence! Both Ozong and Pamela Etta are exactly the kind of company we like to keep. All smiles and brimming with positive energy, they were excited to cast the first ceremonial shovelful of dirt.

Final details for Clark Hill residence

Crews are hard at work installing finishes at our Clark Hill residential project. On the interior we're busy installing the last of the millwork, including a stunning kitchen manufactured by Bulthaup. Bathroom countertops have been delivered and are also being installed. See above for a sneak-peak one of the double-bowl vanity tops carved from a single piece of solid marble!

One the exterior, we are installing over 40 tons of tumbled roof ballast delivered from Mexico. Also on the outside, crews are wrapping up the last remaining details of the unique Valsar stone veneer quarried in Switzerland. Stay tuned for more developments!
