When RAW Art founder Mary Flannery called with exciting news that the organization was looking to expand into an adjacent building, Groom was excited to once again be part of the team. Working closely with architects Rick Jones (Jones Architecture) and Dan Hisel (DHA), the team was able to transform a defunct travel agency into bright and colorful multi-use space to support RAW's expanding presence in downtown Lynn. The space houses three new program areas divided by industrial steel-and-glass garage doors that allow light to penetrate the narrow layout. In an effort to maximize the value of every dollar spent, Groom self-performed much of the work. The space is a testament to how the right team can make all of the difference.
